Terms of Service

Service scope

MaterialClear helps authorized Shopify merchants record material requirements, receiving, evidence, inspections and approvals and calculate production readiness. Public installation and paid plans are not yet available. These terms describe the intended service scope; commercial availability will be announced separately.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for accurate templates, quantities, inspection decisions, approvals, locations and staff permissions. You must have authority to share supplier information and evidence. Avoid unnecessary personal information in notes or photos.

Production decisions

READY reflects recorded conditions and does not independently verify physical quality or authorize production. You remain responsible for safety, suitability, compliance and the decision to start work.

Supplier information

Supplier submissions are supplied by the link holder. Verify their accuracy. Treat supplier links as confidential access credentials, share only with intended recipients and revoke them when no longer needed.

Availability and acceptable use

Maintenance, provider interruptions and failures may affect availability. Do not assume a save succeeded without confirmation. Do not misuse access, attempt to cross merchant boundaries, upload unlawful material, expose other people’s information or interfere with the service. No uptime guarantee is offered in these pre-launch terms.

Data handling and termination

Our Privacy Policy describes current retention, exports and deletion. Uninstalling revokes access and initiates the retention lifecycle; it does not promise instant physical erasure from provider recovery systems. Verified deletion requests are handled separately. Access may be suspended to address misuse or a security concern.

Service limitations and liability

The service supports your operational records and decisions. It is not a substitute for professional inspection or legal advice. Applicable mandatory rights remain unaffected. Commercial warranties, any liability cap, governing law and the contracting entity require legal review before general merchant launch; these pre-launch terms do not invent those provisions.
